Gary Paul Wright
Gary has a wealth of experience ranging from small scale theatre to large international projects. He has a strong record of project coordination and has successfully delivered a large portfolio of productions, events and buildings throughout his time in the industry.
Gary's experience includes a stint as draughtsman at the Royal Opera House, London; Head of Stage at the Belgrade Theatre, Technical Manager for Birmingham Rep and Deputy Technical Manager at Nottingham Playhouse.
He has also lectured extensively in AutoCAD at Nottingham Trent University, and more recently, undertook Project Coordination and Logistics Management for the Royal Shakespeare Company, overseeing first the feasibility and then the complex build of the RSC’s temporary Scarlet & Gray Theatre into the New York Armouries. Gary is also proficient in design, cost analysis, tendering, administration and procurement and is currently undertaking an MSc in Quantity Surveying.
