Freya Martin

 

Freya’s role is to provide administrative support to the Bristol Studio and the rest of the Charcoalblue team. The Studio Administrator is first point of contact for those visiting the studio, and carries out many of the day-to-day admin tasks for the company as well as contributing to parts of the marketing and HR duties. 

 

Freya graduated from Middlesex University in 2013 with a First Class Honours in Theatre Arts (Design and Technical Theatre).

 

Freya has recently been a part of the Dylan Thomas Festival in Fitzrovia as Stage Manager for ‘A Warring Absence’ at the National Theatre and Welsh Chapel (2014). Previous to that, Freya also gained valuable experience as Stage Manager at the Arcola Theatre and Brighton Fringe Festival 2013. She was the Assistant Stage Manager on Southwark Playhouse’s production of ‘Mack & Mabel’ and ‘Victor/Victoria’ in 2012. 

 

In addition to Freya’s theatre credits, she has also worked as an Events Management Assistant at Searcy’s, St Pancras Grand and was also a Casting/Production Assistant for LOCOG (London Organising Committee of the Olympic Games) where she was part of a team of six volunteers chosen to represent the 70,000 volunteers at the Olympic Closing Ceremony London, August 2012.
